This recipe comes from the excellent PhillyGoldenTeacher and is a simple recipe you can make with store bought ingredients.
The 1-2-3 is in the name because that is the ratios of ingredients for scaling the recipe, making it an easy one to remember.
The ratios are 1:2:3:100 of corn syrup, agar, potato flakes and water. You can scale this ratio up and down to however much media you wish to produce.
For example, 500ml of water would require 5g corn syrup, 10g agar and 15g potato flakes.
- Honey can be used in place of corn syrup, 1:1
